Jane Scott has an honours degree in geography from University College London, and qualifications in teaching and librarianship, but her passions are wildflowers and bushwalking. Western Australia's unique wildflowers have fascinated her ever since she arrived in Australia from England in 1973. During 40 years of living and working in the Margaret River area Jane has developed a wide knowledge of the area's plants and their habitats. This pocket handbook combines Jane's love of wildflowers and walking - especially along the Cape to Cape Track - to provide an easy identification guide to the orchids that grow in the International Biodiversity Hotspot that is the southwest corner of Western Australia. The book highlights her extensive knowledge the orchids of this area. We hope you enjoy using it as much as Jane enjoyed compiling it.
