It seems Dickie was not truly the Earl, but the jealous younger twin brother, George, who tried to kill the real Richard. Now the true Richard has returned to seek revenge, only to find his brother conveniently deceased. BUT no one knows of the switch and no one knows George is dead. This is all rather easy for our newly instated Earl, EXCEPT now he has a rather beautiful but stubborn wife - who may or may not have poisoned his brother and who is almost certainly a gold digger. With little time before the Dickie on ice begins to ripen and with a killer in their midst, a frightful thing happens: the very real Duke and the newly-minted widow might just find that this turn of events suits them a little too well….
