This book can enable people with an interest in astronomy or aerospace engineering to get a grasp of fundamentals and general concepts without formal training. Another important feature of this book is its top-down approach. Most astronomy textbooks seem to be built up from a base of intimidating formulas and equations. In Astronomy Demystified, general concepts are presented first, and details follow. Where necessary, formulas and equations are used, but mathematics does not dominate the presentation.
