Tracey was born in South Wales and now lives in Gloucestershire with her husband, two daughters and a menagerie of animals. She is a trained teacher and used to run specialist literacy programmes in schools before becoming a full-time writer. Tina Macnaughton was born in Edinburgh and now lives in Guildford. She has illustrated a number of books for Little Tiger Press, including Snow Friends, the delightful Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones and the best-selling Little Hedgehog.
